The car will be my daily drive and as long as I can put 4 people in it im happy . The ranger has no fbt and can take it off road but the fgx xr8 has fbt but has the awesome engine .

Why. your ability to buy a new XR8 is going to be limited in the future (Production stops) Ranger will be around for many years to come. Plus do you really want to change your username?

After a while driving around in what is a comfied up commercial vehicle , you might get tired of it.
only way to decide, take them all for a spin and see which one suits you better as your daily. |

I would like to start doing some 4wding but I have mates who I can jump in worse case . My father use to have a px1 wildtrak and it was a nice all round car you can take any where and in comfort and looked good .
The thing that is drawing me to the xr8 is its the last new one I can buy and the boss335 . I would rather stick with a ford josh1983 but I am open

Ranger if you want economy and able to carry more but the ride will be a bit harsher, XR8 if you want fun and more comfort

Easy. Get the XR8, you'll know you've made the right decision every time you hit the accelerator.

I don't think either make a sensible daily driver.
But being sensible all the time is no fun. .

I'd buy neither.
Sounds like you need to go back to the drawing board to see what kind of vehicle your really looking for & why. |

This is what I did.
1. Bought a new XR8 Manual in December 2015. 2. Sold my pristine one owner 2010 Nissan Navara with 47000km 3. Bought a very well maintained 2001 AU2 XR6 ute for $3500.00. Best of both worlds. Regards Greg |

XR8! As someone said, you'll have plenty of time in the future to buy a Ranger.
Get a cheap, reliable second hand 4wd, something you're not gonna be annoyed about scratching as much as a new Ranger. If you REALLY get into off roading then maybe think about getting something fancier. |
