Default Replacing icc unit in a ute

Can anyone help me with info on replacing a Ba ute icc. I'm going to replace the standard single zone unit with the same but with a colour screen. The new unit does not have the electronic module, they say to use my existing one. also Is it easy to replace it with the later model icc (they only appear to have duel zone).

If you replace with a single zone colour screen ICC and use your BEM (electronic module) it should all work fine, though you may need to get the radio unit recorded to work in your car.

Replacing with a dual zone (and having it work as a dual zone) is more complicated. I have done the SZ colour screen swap into my RTV.

You can put a Dual Zone unit in a Single Zone car, when whoever programs your ICC to the car does that, they need to switch the HIM over to Dual Zone mode too, the only thing is that the passenger side temp controller is the one that affects the cars heater/cooler. And it does not matter if the ICC came from a BA, BF, SX or SY, they are all basically the same, and interchangeable.
