Default Buying quality Retainer clips ?

Dear folks

Looking to purchase quality set of retainer clips similar to this one

https://www.amazon.com/240-Pcs-Kit-A...av_signin&th=1

Which brand are made of premium nylon quality material with heavy duty construction for durability, which is strong, robust and vibration resistant ?

Thanks

If you want high quality ones I normally work out what size I want and order from an electronics company - like rs components or element14.
Otherwise try auto or marine places, like https://www.carpartsclipsandfasteners.com.au/ or https://wolfchestershop.com.au/body-clips/

If you want a kit of random stuff you're always taking a chance (on quality and on sizes etc you never find useful)

E: If you want the one you linked to did you know that amazon AU has them? Double the price but still cheaper than ordering from the USA

Just to throw this out there, we've got that exact set at work because clips often don't survive for a second time around, and I've yet to find one from that set that actually works where I want it to. Either too small or too big.

They're not 'bad' quality, but not great either and the tool is meh.

The last fastners I bought were OEM, not in an OEM bag and I bought a cheap-o trim removal kit that included a much better screwdriver handled tool. Thicker metal and a moving rubber fulcrum, but I can't find it on Amazon AU. Can't find it anywhere actually, so I better look after the thing.

That set is ok, but I'd check to see it's got usable sizes in it first. Much easier to do if you have one car and can measure all the holes.

Too big a picture, but that's the set I got. The plastic parts are I guess standard, but that clip remover is very good. Bought it while I was in Japan, so not at all local.

All that stuff is made in China so if you look around you might find them cheap on ebay ex China.
I got a similar set for $7 but I just looked up the seller and it's out of stock so the images have been removed. But it's similar to the 8 piece sets listed for $30 on amazon, like this one: https://www.amazon.com.au/MICTUNING-.../dp/B07BC8S7WK
It's $23 cheaper direct from China, and we all know these are made in China so it's not like there's a moral quandary.

Perfect. Thanks.

That said, the OP tool works, but the one I put up is just that much better it's worth getting if you can.

The plastic things, I'm not sure there's much difference between any/all of them, I use my plastic bits mostly to scrape off stickers.

Mitsubishi, while in Japan. Came in a plain-ish bag, generic sticker. Identical in every way to the clips I snapped, and after 6 months in a wheel well, I couldn't tell the difference other than the new ones weren't already trashed. Most likely they were genuine external supplier, and probably on a heap of different cars.

Kinda hoping my ability to find 'stuff' gets as good here as it was there, because not being able to find things I want is starting to bug me. ;)

OMG for me Japan mean quality and I am fan of Japanese goods when I see anything made in Japan I can't resist specially when it is affordable price not very expensive.

Japan is a county that manufactures from a needle to a heavy duty machine.,,,,unfortunate they didn't invest in mobile industries like apple and Samsung and HTC and others

Recently I realized that there is a website like ebay in Japanese language and has English version as well and you can buy from Japan.

Called Rakuten Global Market and I bought this :

wurth have a huge range of clips, but not in a pretty bulk lot goodie bag

https://eshop.wurth.com.au/Product-c...gid/en/GB/AUD/

if you put in a fake company name and pay with a credit card they will send to anyone from there online shop, have only used a few new clips but the remover tool for push clips is FANTASTIC, https://eshop.wurth.com.au/Product-c...but=%255B%255D
