Default Crash Tests

Wow. I assume this is real although pinned between a concrete wall and a moving truck is not your everyday scenario but it certainly raises eyebrows.

BMW and Volvo are a real surprise along with the Prado. Its ladder framed chassis must be made of cheese.

But other than the truck itself I'd say the trusty Ford Explorer is the clear winner.

Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

It looks 100% computer generated to me.

You see these pop up on FB from time to time. Spot on that they are CGI.

Yeah after viewing this a few more times I've come to the conclusion its BS. The Prado crumpling that much with a ladder chassis just would not happen.

Ladder doesn't make them indestructible. Heck Monocoque chassis are often outperforming Ladders in crash tests these days.

But, as with Propaganda, we need to know who is making the videos and what their motives are.

By a long margin as well. Some notable surprises there. Volvo safe? Toyota tough?

The truck must be made of some exotic materials as well. In over 30 years as a paramedic, I have never seen a truck come out undamaged after colliding with any car.
