September 22 is No Petrol Day.
If everyone doesn't buy petrol on September 22, it will cost the oil companies $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Then they might stop ripping us off. |

This all stems from some regular e-mail spam and has no foundation. Please do not propagate the myth, there have been several posts on this topic in recent days.
Thankyou. |

Oh lord... this even made the morning news today... they had some 'expert' in and debunked it completely. One day would mean so very very little of those that could actually get around to it, that the Petrol Companies wouldn't even feel it. They probably would not even see it in their balance sheet. Australia's consumption of Petrol for a day of organised protesters would probably be smaller than a rounding error on the world scale....
