Morons In Commodores

: Was just down the main street and a FOOL in a COMMODORE hit my car trying to get out of a carpark.Luckily for me my daughter was across the road and seen it all,she sung out to me and I chased the guy down the street and got all his details.It's only surface scratches but thats not the point.Will take it to Panel Beaters and get quote to buff it out and send the FOOL the bill.....

i don't think its just commodore drivers,I've seen plenty of drivers of other cars do silly things like this but i can see where you're coming from.

Yep,But he pulled over when he seen me run up the road after him...

And yes I know MORONS drive all breeds of cars,it's just this one happened to be in a coomodore,the post would have had the same title if he was in a FALCON also....lol

Nah statistically there are more morons in Commodores... you only need to see the car confiscation stats from Victoria to see this (the commodore is the #1 confiscated car according to the cops).

Well no they aren't, there is no statistical basis to suggest that P platers cause '99%' of accidents... but there IS evidence that many people caught by the cops AND lose their cars for hooning drive commodores...

I know bagging commo drivers around here is a nono but come on don't argue with known facts.

well you can always have the thread removed if it's that bad....no skin off my nose...I couldn't of given a flyin' fig what he was drivin' really,it was the fact the jerk hit my car(my pride and joy) and drove off,but then again I spose you all give people a little pat on the back when they hit your cars and say well done buddy.....sorry I upset you all with my ONE EYED POST....Yep I'm TRUE BLUE and I don't care if that means I'm one eyed...... just the way I see it,don't mean to offend anyone....Cheers Julie

did you get his insurance details.?

even if you just have his rego and name your insurance company will fix it and make sure that he pays for it.

i had a block head reverse into my old XF ute a few years ago while i was waiting to pull out of a parking lot, i had been parked behind him for a few minutes in a line of cars waiting for the lights to change when he tried to reverse out of his parking spot without looking.

when i asked for his details he just laughed and said he had no money and no insurance to pay. i went back to work and rang my insurance company with just his name and the rego number of his old van , the insurance lady said to just go and get it fixed and not worry about the bill because they would handle it and make sure that the other guy paid in full.

cost was about $2500 to repair bodywork and replace the signwriting for the full side of the ute.
and didnt affect my no claim .

then much the same happened to my BA ute christmas before last at a servo in Goondiwindi waiting to get fuel, it cost that guy over $3500.

both of them tried to blame me for being parked behind them

: , both times i was in the middle of a line up of about 6-8 cars.

i didn't go off my block at him,I asked him nicely for his details and he was obliging,I told him I would see the panel beater and let him know,he scratched the rear bumper,damaged the chrome strip and put some stress fractures in the paint work,so will most likely have to have the bumper re-sprayed and chrome strip replaced......at least he gave me his details,only after I chased him though....lol...

I see a lot of idiots in Commodores, but because I really only see them speeding, it doesn't bother me too much.

I consider Camry drivers to be far more moronic. At least Holden drivers know how to operate their vehicle.
