Not a scam, just an electronic shift kit. Pretty common and about $50 to buy usually. Have one in my car although I never use it anymore as its no longer needed with the edit.

worth it? IMHO (and only my opinion) it wasnt worth it. Others may differ but it was not something I think helped my times at all.

these shiftkits tinker with the oil pressure solonoid, increasing oil pressure. It does work and it does reduce shifting times between shifts, however we are looking at around .1 to .2s improvements over the quater mile. There are wiring diagrams on this forums that explain how to build one urself with about $10 worth of parts. Takes about 20min

If it could be blamed for damage, yes. It is not going to void the warranty on your ICC, etc, but if your tranny gives up or you blow a hole in the diff or the engine gets stressed then, yes, Ford will tell you to %^&* off when you walk in an d try to get them to pay for it. I would imagine these shiftkits put alot more stress on the drivetrain.

It may seem to put stress on auto? But when you take an turbo E series to an auto tech, the first thing they do is raise line pressure, the faster the shifts the less time bands etc are wearing during shift..But it does seem to give rest of transmission a hard time...Like C.V's on irs cars...
