Default Congratulations FoMoCo lottery winners!

Congratulations to the eight workers at Ford Australia who won over half a million in last nights lotto.

Will you still be working at Ford anymore? lol. Merry Xmas and happy new year too.

"A syndicate of eight workmates from the Ford Motor Company also won more than $589,000 in Saturday night's draw."

What would you do with your $73625 if you where one of the lucky FoMoCo workers?

For me the smart thing to do would put a large chuck into my mortgage. Spend 5k doing up bathroom & 5k doing same to kitchen. A big screen LCD TV & through a couple grand on the XR in mods. :

That'd be throwing the winnings down the toilet.
You'd get more from giving your winnings away to charity than buying an SS-V

Territory on gas for the family, sell one AU, keep the other and fit some extractors and manual conversion etc, etc.

Rest on mortgage!

I hope the winners spend it wisely though. I heard that 75% of lottery winners end up less happy than before they won!

Strange but true!

If the share price keeps going the way it is, they could do that and still have some to spare.

Congrats to whoever won it! Its not enough to stop working at all, let alone quit. 10 times that and I wouldnt quit work actually. Best to take full advantage of it and keep working and invest the money I say.

But yes, paying off bills, paying some school fees and the rest into the house would be my plan at the moment. And maybe even buying a car to replace the one that is now gone....
