can anyone help me please
I am having problems with my air mode switch (the one on the left side of the heater console) on my 1998 au forte. There seems to be air leak directly behind the switch, Which seem to affect which place the air comes out of in relation to the indicated selection. Can anyone help me. cheers Rob |

So im guessing it's defaulting to the windscreen vents?
Behind the dial is a "loom" of vacuum lines.... chances are, one of them has popped off... maybe even split. Take the control panel out (might have to remove dash?? not sure, never worked on an AU) and investigate where the leak is coming from. Will (hopefully) be a matter of popping a vac line back on, or removing/replacing/repairing damaged section.

Should it default to windsreen demister, Because my one is not it seems to be working in reverse, for example when placed on the foot well section in blow air from the front vents. Could it still be the vacuum hoses or the vacuum selector switch
